Firstly, the pain is described theoretically, its pathophysiology, its types from acute to chronic. Main part of this section comprises of evaluation, treatment of the pain and the nurses' and doctors' influence. Following chapters dissertate about degenerative problems of cervical spine. The conclusion of the theoretical part of the dissertation work describes aftercare, rehabilitation and home care. Experimental part of this work refers about a research I have undertaken. 46 people with degenerative cervical spine disorder took a part in my investigation. The process took part in a standard department of 'Na Homolce' Hospital.
