Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification

This diploma thesis focuses on the information system Time Mission owned by ARTIN Ltd. The main part of the thesis is composed of analysis of the system including description of the network infrastructure and used technologies which are useful for another development of software. On the basis of analysis possible changes will be proposed. These changes should lead to increase in efficiency of the information systém.

Early tooth development of Tabby mice

The developing mouse dentition is a very useful tool to study molecular regulation of odontogenesis and also organogenesis. The embryonic mouse dentition comprises developing functional tooth primordia as well as rudimentary tooth primordia. These rudiments arrest their growth during development and either degenerate or become a part of a functional tooth. Mice with gene defects also allow elucidation of a function of genes, their products and signalling pathways. The protein ectodysplasin is essential for development of ectodermal derivatives - skin, hair, glands and teeth. The Tabby mice have a mutation in the Eda gene, which encodes the protein ectodysplasin, and they display a number of dentition anomalies. Early development of the lower jaw dentition in Tabby embryos has been already morphologically described. As a prerequisite for understanding regulatory mechanisms of odontogenesis in Tabby mice, it is also necessary to map the spatiotemporal dynamics of signalling centres that express Shh in both the rudimentary and functional tooth primordia. Strategic analysis of chosen company

The aim of this thesis is to do strategic analysis for the company Heineken Česká republika, a.s. with marketing communication analysis and research on brand awareness. Marketing communication is focused on advertising. The research on brand awareness is done through a questionnaire survey. The first part focuses on theoretical basis, which contains strategic analysis, marketing communication and research. The second part describes company Heineken Česká republika, a.s. Strategic analysis contains macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis, analysis of internal resources and ability of the company, financial analysis and SWOT analysis. Analysis of marketing communication is devoted to marketing and communication mix of the company with focus on advertising. In conclusion of this thesis is analysis of research on brand awareness.

The analysis of retail network in Hořovice

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the retail network in Hořovice and evaluate whether the number of retail units correspond to the number of the population. It deals with the shopping facilities and retail networks, especially with the assortment of groceries. The first part focuses on theoretical basis, which is necessary for the retail network analysis of the city. There is mentioned retail and its segmentation, the theory of regional analysis and the methods used in it and the characteristic of types of single retail units. The second part describes the region and the town Hořovice. There is a brief history of the city, geographic and demographic data, social and cultural factors, housing situation in the city and some economic data. The third chapter is devoted to research. First there is indicated the location and characteristics of retail units and then are analyzed the results from the own research.
