The main objective of this thesis is to create a database of avenues and rows of trees in the region of Vranovsko and in a part of Znojemsko region as a part of a project of mapping and inventory of avenues and rows of trees by the ecologic initiative Arnika. The theoretical part, based on information retrieval, focuses on the planting and subsequent care of avenues, provides historical context and describes the current situation and its legal background. The terrain work followed the given methodology of Arnika initiative, its outcomes will become a background for planning of maintenance and care of avenues and rows of trees in the region.

This bachelor is thesis provides a general overview of the anatomy and physiology of bovine mammary gland and its defence mechanisms with the focus on macrophages, their characteristic features, activation and functions. The second part describes apoptosis of macrophages at the end of their life cycle, their transformation from monocytes and their influence on the surrounding mammary gland tissue. The thesis also summarises methods of detection of apoptotic macrophages and depicts the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
