Place of Pilgrimage and its Musical Tradition

43 Resumé The proposed thesis is an attempt to map the history of the beginnings and the life story of the pilgrimage locality of Kájov. The thesis is based on a research of preserved official documents and on testimonies of surviving eye witnesses. Among the termini a quo counts the history of the cultural and spiritual regime in Kájov and some of the events which influenced the functioning of the pilgrimage locality. In the course of time the socio- demographic structure of the inhabitants was changing along with political regimes which were responsible for persecutions of the spiritual leaders in Kájov. The thesis traces the impact of the spiritual tradition of a pilgrimage location and the influence of spiritual leaders in the musical and cultural life of the inhabitants of Kájov from the first written accounts until today. My objective is not only mapping of the history of the musical activities at the pilgrimage location of Kájov, but also an attempt to organize the remains of the Kájov music archives.

Life and Works of P. Jakob Trautzl

Cílem této práce je shromáždit a zpracovat veškeré v současné době dostupné informace o Trautzlově životě, o jeho působení v hudebních funkcích v oseckém klášteře, o jeho kompozičních i ostatních hudebních aktivitách. V tematickém katalogu Trautzlova hudebního díla je podán komplexní přehled jeho známé tvorby, vhled do struktury jeho skladatelského zaměření a v neposlední řadě pak i materiál sloužící k dalšímu bádání po eventuální neznámé části Trautzlova skladatelského odkazu. Důležitým úkolem této práce je také prezentace konkrétní hudby v podobě notového materiálu, z něhož by bylo možno zcela bezprostředně usuzovat na kvalitu výsledků Trautzlových kompozičních snah.
