Thesis supervisor: Ing. Zbyšek Korecki, Ph.D. This thesis deals with international migration from Mexico to The United States and its economic impact. Theoretical part deals with types, causes and motives of migration. This part focuses on characterization of labor market, defines remittances and consequencies on labor market. Analytic part analysis historical development of immigration from Mexico to USA, destinations of mexican migration, motives to mexican migration (Push-pull model) and impacts of migration on labor market in Mexico and USA. The third part describes the various proposals for solving the problems.
