Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with Diagnosis of Total Knee Replacement of the Knee Joint

Title: Case report of a physiotherapeutic care patient with a diagnosis of total knee replacement of the knee joint Aims: The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to process a case report of a physiotherapeutic care patient with a diagnosis of total knee replacement of the knee joint. Part of the work is also a comprehensive theoretical introduction to the topic. Methods: This bachelor thesis consists of a general and a special part. The general part contains informations about the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint, information about osteoarthritis which is the most common indication for total knee replacement, it's etiopathogenesis and it's treatment. It also contains a chapter on total knee replacement, it's history, types of endoprostheses, indications and contraindications of this procedure and especially the subsequent rehabilitation and effect of therapeutic procedures used in physiotherapeutic care. The special part is processed in the form of a case report of a patient after total knee arthroplasty. It contains anamnesis, complete initial kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term physiotherapy plan, therapeutic units, final examination and evaluation of the performed therapy.
