SEMERÁDOVÁ, Veronika
The topic of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the spatial organization of low-cost air transport in Central Europe. The first part is devoted to the theoretical basis, which focuses on the importance of air transport, current trends, deregulation and liberalization of air transport. Then the theoretical part deals with the characteristics of low-cost companies. Last but not least, this section deals with crises that have affected the operation of air transport, such as the covid-19 pandemic. The analytical part is devoted to the analysis of a selected low-cost airline - Ryanair in 2020. The Flightradar24 application was used to obtain data on the number of flights of the company for each month from selected Central European airports. Monthly flight data continue to be compared with the number of newly infected cases in Europe.
