The absences in the sphere of care about people after spinal chord injury in the Czech Republic

While writing the thesis, I presume that tha vast majority of people with spinal chord injury (SCI) like paraplegics and quadruplegics are capable according to their intelligence cooperate, and after good treatment and care they can live "normal" social life and earn themselves living. For that they need a big help from their environment, "general public", professionals and state. Therefore I ask following questions: "What do the respondents think of offered services to all people with spinal chord injury?", "Is there in the Czech Republic sufficient comprehensive rehabilitation about people with spinal chord injury?" The aim of this thesis is to describe complications and results of spinal chord injuries (paraplegia, quadruplegia) and with that connected the cure, especially rehabilitative cure. The main aim is to find out the absences in the sphere of care about people on wheelchair in the Czech Republic. I focused on what wheelchair people see as the biggest problem in their lives, how they feel the changes in legislative, medical care, complex rehabilitation, possibilities of job placement and education in the Czech Republic over the past few years.
