Legal regulation of plant, animal and human health Abstract This diploma thesis is dedicated to the legal regulation ensuring the protection of the health of plants, animals and people. With regard to the current state of sources of health threats, adequate legal regulation is necessary. The legal regulation should ensure and enforce the protection of the health of plants, animals and people, and respond adequately to the development of the state of sources of health threats. The aim of this diploma thesis is to determine and describe the effectivity of the legislation protecting the health of plants, animals and people and in what ways this protection is enforced, and to evaluate the findings. Considering the large number of sources of threats to the health of plants, animals and people, this diploma thesis deals only with these selected sources of threats: diseases, animal infections or harmful organisms; safety of plant protection products, animal feed, food and animal products for the health. The main legal regulations in the theme of this thesis are the Act on Phytosanitary Care, the Veterinary Act and the Act on the Public Health Protection.
