Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament. Objective: This thesis is a case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient who underwent reconstruction surgery of the anterior cruciate ligament. The care occurred during an internship at rehabilitation department at FNHK hospital. The thesis includes a comprehensive theoretical introduction to the subject. Summary: This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the knee joint and various surgical approaches to anterior cruciate ligament plastic surgery. The second part is a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a real patient after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction which lasted nine therapy sessions. The case study concludes with a comparison of the patient's condition before and after rehabilitation, and an evaluation of the effect of the therapy.
