This work is focused on inspection of roof and following-up loft conversion in family house in Radiměř village. Before starting works on loft conversion it was necessary to realise inspection, because the roof is actually around 150 years old. Thanks to this inspection were revealed damaged parts of the frame and designed steps to solve these problems. Firstly, the whole frame was measured and the drafting was drew up, because no documentation hadn’t existed until this assessment was completed. Next step brought into the drafting size and seriousness of those damaged parts. The inspection was also used as a base for following suggestions of replacing the most damaged elements so that the loft conversion will be possible and causes of the damage were permanently removed whether it was rot or woodworm. All results are stated in the text and in the technical documentation. After replacing damaged elements can be work on loft conversion started without transfer of the rot to the new parts. In conclusion of this work can be found description of the layout of the new loft as well as attached drawing documentation and ground plan.
