This bachelor’s thesis discusses the possibilities of working with breath in classical dance technique. My research is based primarily on my personal perceptions obtained while observing the effects of breath on the body. My main aim is to make use of stimuli that occur in the body from the anatomical, physiological and psychological point of view while inhaling and exhaling in order to support the correct execution of the steps of the classical dance technique, in cooperation with countermoves in the body. This research section is preceded by a general overview of the respiratory system and the introduction of a different concept of breath.

LIFE AND WORK OF CONRAD DRZEWIECKI
Puchowska, Sara Maria ; Gremlicová, Dorota (advisor) ; Ondrašíková, Věra (referee)
My graduation thesis is based on the work and life of Conrad Drzewiecki, the person who wrote the history of dance and choreography in the second half of the twentieth century in Poland. He was one of the first post-war dancers, who performed both in and outside Poland. Drzewiecki was the founder and head of the Polish Theater Dance - Ballet Poznan and also teacher at the Poznan School of Ballet. He is famous for creation and development of a whole new dance style. For many years Drzewiecki represented Polish art in the country and abroad. This work is not a subjective look at the life and work of Conrad Drzewiecki, but just a small collection of historical and theoretical information.
POLISH DANCE STAGE IN 1990´
Puchowska, Sara Maria ; Wiesner, Daniel (advisor) ; Gremlicová, Dorota (advisor) ; Kazárová, Helena (referee)
This thesis deals with Polish dance scene?s situation after 1989. It?s dedicated mainly to three artistic canters: Greater Theatre in Warsaw ? National Opera which is most likely concentrated on classic technique, Polish Dance Theatre ? Ballet Poznanski, which in turn is a contemporary group and Studio Buffo where musical and dance exhibitions are presented. The mentioned period was chosen because that?s the moment right after the fall of communism and when times were changing significantly. Yet another reason is lack of written information about those times
