The title of work: The Effect of Pelvic Stabilizing Muscles Activation in Redcord on the Gait in Patients after Brain Damage Abstract: This bachelor thesis focuses on wrong gait stereotype after acquired brain damage. It aims on finding a way how to affect it by therapy of pelvic stabilizers. For this intention the Neurac method has been chosen. It uses a sling exercise system called Redcord. The theoretical part of this thesis concerns brain damage in general and especially traumatic and ischaemic laesion. It also describes pathologic gait stereotype issue which is very common in these patients. Furthermore, a description of the Neurac method and the Redcord is involved. There are several current studies mentioned as well. In the practical part there are described all used methods, basic research questions, methodology and description of participant patients. This part also includes case studies and results of therapy after doing special Neurac Testing, standard gait tests and visual comparison of gait before and after intervention using videorecording. The Influence of Hallux Valgus on the Posture

Title of thesis: The Influence of Hallux Valgus on the Posture Key words: Hallux valgus, forefoot deformity, posture, hallux valgus angle, intermetatarsal angle, the axial position of the thumb In the bachleor thesis on "The influence of Hallux valgus on the posture" we have focused on the hallux valgus issue , its preservative treatment and relationship to a posture. In each chapters we describe the theory on this issue. In particular we describe anatomy and kinesiology of legs, kinesiology of walk and the way how hallux valgus deformity can affects various body structures. The practical part contains three case studies which are devoted to three patients in a period of approximately 12 weeks. Patients have the same diagnosis, an obtained hallux valgus each one with different degree of deformity. The stage of deformity was set on the basis of an axial position of the hallux valgus of radiographs. Each patient has even another related complication. The aim of my thesis was to develop a comprehensive therapy for hallux valgus deformity and to see whether this therapy can change the axial position of the thumb and last but not least whether this can affect their related subjective complications.
