Despite the immigrants are thought to deprive local citizens of job, we can claim based on the analysis of the collected quantitative data that this statement is not true. The practical part of this thesis demonstrates that over 90 % of the economically active Vietnamese are entrepreneurs. Others are employed in positions that require only minimal qualifications, and are particularly rejected by Czech economically active people. The rejection could be caused by low wages, high physical or psychological demands, and also low social status associated with specific job.
