Europeanization of Social Dialogue in the Czech Republic

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the europeanization of social dialogue in the Czech Republic, i.e. the change of social dialogue vis-à-vis the influence of the EU. The change is explored in relation to five areas: the competences and legitimity of social partners, the "content" of social dialogue, socialization, strategies of interest representation and institutional structures of social dialogue. The integration of the Czech Republic into the EU incl. the membership of social partners in European federations of social partners has a considerable potential to influence social dialogue in the Czech Republic. However the thesis concludes that there are some barriers on the national level which inhibit the full impact of europeanization Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
