The problematics of identification and quantification of microplastics in soils
Polachová, Tereza ; Pavlovský, Jiří (referee) ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis summarizes the current findings on the presence, behavior and analysis of microplastics in soils. The most common method for analyzing microplastics in soils is FTIR spectroscopy. However, summaries of findings and results of published research indicate insufficient standardization of sampling, purification and handling of samples. The aim was to create a mathematical model for the quantification of PET in mixtures of standard soils and PET, which was subsequently verified on mixtures of PET in different real soils. The result is a model which should be universal for the quantitative analysis of PET in standard and real soils, with low and high PET concentration. Models were created for the following wavenumbers 2965.80 cm-1; 1739.99 cm-1; 1299.85 cm-1 and 1135.31 cm-1. The correlation coefficients R2 for individual wavenumbers were: 0.9606; 0.9141; 0.9360 and 0.8879.
Taxidermal Mounts of the Reptiles, Small Mammals and Fishes
Kubátová, Claudie ; Řezníček, Jan (advisor) ; Poláchová, Tereza (referee)
1 ABSTRACT The thesis is conceived as detailed guide to create a dermoplastic models for teachers of natural history and biology. The first part focuses on the actual field of taxidermy and its methods. It includes some possible methods leading to the making of dermoplastic models of mammals, reptiles and fishes. The second part describes the created models of mammals, reptiles and fishes. This section also contains the characteristics of individual species and recent research from specialized foreign literature.
Vertebrate Skeletal Mounts
Poláchová, Tereza ; Řezníček, Jan (advisor) ; Mazalová, Jana (referee)
The topic of this thesis is dissection of vertebrate skeletons while using available and appropriate methods. The theoretical part is prepared based on Czech and foreign sources. For this part, there were used print publications, articles from journals and some Internet sources. It summarizes theoretical knowledge of the occurrence and anatomical structure of vertebrates. The practical part includes methodology involving collection, preservation and actual processing of animals. In detail, there are described possible methods of work that are evaluated and compared in the closing part. These proposed procedures are used for the selected representatives of vertebrates, in the individual chapter called - Results. The outcome of this thesis is a detailed guide with the procedures of chosen methods and preserved skeletons with a description of their characteristics. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Fiscal Incentives in Film Industry
Polachová, Tereza ; Dočekal, Radomír (advisor) ; Danielis, Aleš (referee)
The purpose of this paper is to analyze contemporary systems of direct and indirect subsidies of film industry in selected countries. In the first chapter of my paper I focus on different ways of obtaining the subsidies financial support, their application and the potentials of gaining them. EU policy towards the systems of indirect subsidies is the matter of the second chapter. In my third and fourth chapter I describe functioning of two different systems - for my paper I have chosen Hungary and Luxembourg. In search of resume I am introducing the systems of subsidies in chosen European countries. The last chapter describes contemporary status of film industry including institutional and legislative framework in the Czech Republic. Finally, the possible model of direct and indirect subsidies systems in the Czech Republic has been drawn.
