Porta Coeli complex - new use of selected objects

The subject of the diploma thesis is the processing of a proposal for the restoration of buildings in the complex of the Cistercian Porta Coeli monastery in Předklášteří near Tišnov. The basic idea of the design is to preserve the historical context and architectural value of the complex. The proposal seeks to create an attractive and cultural environment with various public spaces for relaxation and rest. The work deals with the solution of a kindergarten, which is designed in the outhouse, where it is necessary to add an extension to the building and connect it with a glass construction. A new community center is built next to the kindergarten, and provides various group and creative activities mainly for children and young people from socially disadvantaged families. The solution also aimed at park and parking improvements, the creation of a memorial site that will improve the overall appearance of the complex and bring a large number of tourists.
