Design of ventilation and cooling in a new-build terraced house
Petráš, Jan ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Pech, Ondřej (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the design of a terraced new building, in particular forced ven-tilation and cooling with partial independence on electricity from external distributors. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical, which together contain 10 chapters on these topics. The thesis includes not only the design of ventilation and cooling, but also an energy-ethical simulation of the performance of both proposed systems, including the pro-duction of electricity. In the last chapter, attention is paid to the implementation and operat-ing costs of all the designed systems.
Measuring the Manoeuvres of Public Transport Vehicles to Determine a Comfortable and Safe Ride
Hlavová, Vendula ; Petrás, Jan (referee) ; Tokař, Stanislav (advisor)
The comfort perceived by passengers during transport in public transport plays a vital role, and its improvement can lead to attracting more customers. For this reason, there is a constant effort to improve the comfort of the passenger. This thesis deals with the objective measurement of the maneuvers of MHD in Brno (tram, trolleybus, bus) with the XL Meter and together with the subjective evaluation of the standing and sitting figurant, determines the limit values of longitudinal and transverse acceleration for comfortable ride and dangerous ride, which can lead to accidents to passengers.
Design of ventilation system in family house
Petráš, Jan ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Pech, Ondřej (advisor)
The present bachelor thesis deals with design of a ventilation system with recuperation for a selected family house. The work is divided into four chapters, where the first chapter deals with the research of ventilation units and elements needed for the design of the pipeline system. The second chapter focuses on the introduction of the selected house and the selection of suitable recuperation units. In the last chapters, the thesis includes the practical part, where the third chapter deals with the design of vents and the subsequent calculation of pressure losses. In the fourth chapter, the implementation and operating costs are looked into.
