Prediction and verification of the lifetime for the various combined tensile and torsion load

The paper deals with the problem of fatigue in FEA simulation, fatigue post - processing and experimental verification. The use of the relevant constitutive model with the non-linear hardening is discussed. Experimental data for several load schemes are given. Last but not least. the comparison of calculated and measured lifetime is presented.
Numerical implementation of generalized non-linear kinematic hardening rule for elastic-plastic constitutive equations

The Armstrong-Frederick and Chaboche models were generalized in the framework of non-linear kinematic hardening theory. A procedure for solving the hardening evolution law was implemented within the PMD FEM package. Both the generalized constitutive ml and the way of implementation as well as the differences between the three types of hardening rules are reported in detail.
