Hotel

The diploma thesis processes project documentation for the construction of a hotel building with a restaurant facility, which is situated on the outskirts of the western undeveloped part of the regional town Jihlava. The building has three floors and is covered by flat roofs. The hotel meets the conditions of a four-star (****) economic standard. It is designed with 24 accommodation units with a capacity of total 52 persons (4 persons with reduced mobility on the 3rd floor) and restaurant service for 92 guests, social facilities and kitchens. The apartments and guest rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. On the ground floor there is a representative space of the hotel composed of the entrance hall with reception , space for hotel management, space for technical facilities of the building and restaurant with its own kitchen. The building meets the requirements for zero-energy buildings with a combination of a high-quality construction solution with thermal insulation of building and other technological solutions such as photovoltaic power plants or deep boreholes for stepping pump heating The overall character of the building is emphasized by its architectural design in the light of modern lining of the ventilated facade using cement-fiber boards, whose two-color articulation emphasizes both simplicity and shape function of the building. This solution is combined with large glazed areas that give the building a feeling of spaciousness and evocative cleanliness.
Multifunctional building in Vsetín

The subject of this diploma thesis is design documentation of a multifunctional building. The object is located in village of Vsetín, set in flat terrain. The building is divided to 3 objects. Objects A and C are designed as a residential buildings, object B is the office building. The multifunctional building is with basement, it has four above-ground floors and its roofed with warm flat roof. The structural system of a building is made from ceramic blocks Heluz Family 30 with etics, structures and ceillings are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The part of documentation is fire safety assessment, thermal assessment, acoustic assessment and the daylighting assessment.
Guesthouse with Restaurant

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of a new guesthouse with a restaurant. The building is located in a slightly sloping terrain in the cadastral area of the village Vlasatice Brno-venkov in the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic. The ground-plan shape of the building is mostly rectangular with folded facade parts. It is a partially basement building, to a lesser extent, recessed below ground level with three above-ground floors. The pension has a total of 22 rooms with a total capacity of 46 persons for short-term accommodation. Four rooms on the first floor are designed as wheelchair accessible. For the proper operation of the pension there is a reception on the first floor and an office with the appropriate meeting room on the second floor. One-storey part of the building consists of a restaurant with a capacity of 76 persons, which is designed as a frame skeleton with intensive vegetation single-skin flat roof. The preparation and meals and service of the restaurant is ensured by the kitchen together with its operations and respective warehouses located on the first floor. The basement is used primarily for the operation of the guesthouse, which is located air-conditioning engine room, utility room, workshop or warehouse. The building is for the most part bricked and the peripheral, internal bearing or partition walls are made of polished ceramic blocks porotherm. External walls are insulated with contact insulation system ETICS of gray EPS polystyrene. The glazed Schüco façade is used as the shell of the skeleton structure. The construction of the ceiling is composed of filigree ceiling panels and a singlelayer flat roof with a slope of 3% is used for roofing the building. The thesis contains project documentation for the realization of the construction.
Apartment Building

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the project documentation of a new apartment building which is located in Žďár nad Sázavou. The building is free standing with partial basement. In the building there is one basement and three above ground floors with 9 apartments. There are mainly apartments in high standart with spacious social rooms and terraces. In the basement there are cellar boxes for each apartment, room for bicycles and baby carriages, cleaning room and technical room. Vertical structures are made of ceramics blocks, horizontal structures are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab. The roof construction is designed as single-skin flat roof.
