The issue of public awareness in the context of systems of communal safety and public protection

This work eliminates the basic names and terms related to public protection. In the thesis there are described the tasks and duties of community when ensuring public safety and protection and at the same time tasks and duties of individual members of public. The prevention measures are shown based upon samples of real communities addressing the issue of public protection. The main aim of this work is to map the level of awareness in given area. In the final paragraphs of this work are suggestions of several measures, which should contribute towards better public awareness and readiness in case of emergency situation.
