Brown fields in the Czech Republic as the source of biodiversity in agricultural landscape - biodiversity of old industrial biotopes in Královéhradecko (Eastern Bohemia)
PONČA, Dušan
The importace of model areas - landscape used as a mining area in the past - were studied out of the view of biodeversity and their further usage was proposed. The thessis follows a research made in 2010 and shows possible trends of developmnet of individual areas. Out of this reason local biotops were monitored and population of Coleoptera and how it is influenced by human beings were evaluated. It was researched that all three model areas are under a strong mens´pressure. Positive influence of a management on local population of coleoptera was prooved in the model area No. 2. The Island Biogeography theory was also proveed.
Biodiversity of abandoned mine sites in Hradec Kralove.
PONČA, Dušan
The biodiversity of brown field (old brickyard) was studied in the eastern Bohemia (Plotiště nad Labem). The next possibility of utitizasition of this locality is proposed. The habitat mappinig and the study of epigeic beetle communities was made. The human impact of beetle communities was studied. It was found, that the presence of rare and relic species was found in the habitats with rest of the human activities (ruins of the old buildings). These spesies were characterized as old synanthropic species.
