Hodnocení environmentálních dopadů při produkci vybraných olejnin
PLÁNSKÁ, Miroslava
The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the environmental load, which is related to the standard cultivation practices of oil crops (sunflower - Helianthus annuus, oilseed rape - Brassica napus, hemp - Cannabis sativa) by using the life cycle assessment method. The work deals with the comparison of these oil crops in the case of the production of 1 liter of potentially extractable cooking oil. For the purposes of the work, the functional unit of production (1 liter of oil) and the unit of area (equivalent unit of area needed to obtain the same amount of oil) were deter-mined. In the evaluation of environmental aspects, within the selected impact cate-gories, the greatest environmental load was associated with the production and use of fertilizers, the use of chemical plant protection, and agrotechnical operations.
Influence of beer aging on selected indicators
PLÁNSKÁ, Miroslava
It is possible to say, that signs, connected with fermentation of different kinds of beer, are not direct indicators of beer quality. Although these processes directly affect sensory characteristics of final product. Ignorance of bottle labelling could be misleading, because it can lead consumers to wrong idea that 12-degree beer means 12% of alcohol. Bottom-fermentation of evaluated samples and monitoring final beer production were going in cylindrical-conical beer fermentation tanks. By measuring basic analytical parameters of fermentation, there were evaluated features like content percentage, proportion by mass, apparent extract and wort. There is the most significant decrease of extract and increase of alcohol in dependence on time, while there is almost no change in amount of wort.
