Social Work and it's Place in Integration of Foreigners
PILECKÁ, Anna
This Bachelor Thesis aims to find out which methods and techniques of social work are the most used within the integration of foreigners to Czechia and what is their benefit. Integration of foreigners into the majority society is currently a very actual topic. In this Bachelor Thesis, I focus on the specific non-profit organization InBáze, z. s. residing on the Leger street in Prague. My main goal is to find out in what way the workers of this organization work with foreigners living in the territory of Czechia. Furthermore, what specific methods and techniques of social work these workers use and what is the benefit of their work for the integration of foreigners into the majority Czech society. A partial goal of this work is to find out what pitfalls the workers of InBáze face when working with foreigners. Another partial goal is focused on proposals on improving social work with foreigners from the non-profit organization employees' point of view. The theoretical part is divided into two parts. In the first part, the basic findings considering social work with foreigners are described. The second part is focused on the introduction of the non-profit organization InBáze, z. s. For the practical part, there is a qualitative research approach applied in accordance with the objective, using the interviews and analysis of the provided documents. This Bachelor Thesis may be used as feedback for the organization of InBáze, z. s. Equally, it can be used as an information material for students of both high schools and universities of social and legal focus.
