Půhoná, Monika ; Ducháčková, Eva (advisor) ; Daňhel, Jaroslav (referee)
The main topic of the bachelor thesis is the redistribution of premiums for public health insurance in the Czech Republic. At first, the thesis deals with the general characteristics of health insurance and then is more focused on public health insurance in the Czech Republic, outlining the development of number of insured and the development of premium selection. In order to assess the redistribution principles in the Czech Republic, the work also focuses on the analysis of calculation of the redistribution applied in present and its comparison with the principles used in the past. The analysis concludes with the extraordinary redistribution in January 2012, when the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic decided to reallocate part of health insurance funds again. The work evaluates Czech redistribution systems since their introduction and confirms the continuing trend of fair redistribution.
