The Study of Vertical Filter with Vegetation for Village Bezděčí u Trnávky
Kacetlová, Klára ; Přecechtěl, Karel (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis follows up modern vertical flow constructed wetland for wastewater treatment for Bezděčí u Trnávky village in the Czech republic. This village has 250 habitants. Technology of construted wetlands is alternative method of wastewater treatment. There are a lot of problems with this technology in the Czech republic. These problems are results from wrong design or improper operation. It causes insufficient cleaning efficiency. The worst cleaning efficiency is in removing ammonia nitrogen. To right functioning of constructed wetland is necessary change the approach to design of the constructed wetland. The thesis is based on results of the right designed constructed wetland in Dražovice village and on working technology in Austria as well. All thesis is devided into two parts. The first part consists of literature research, which summarises basic knowledge related to constructed wetland of wastewater treatment. The second part includes two options of designing constructed wetland. The first one consists of two wastewater treatment elements and the second one includes three elements. The main aim of this technology is not only to eliminate the required pollution by decree law, but also to remove nitrogen and phosphorus. The wastewater sludge treatment is based on innovated reed-bed system with wetland vegetation.
Filter Design and Operation
Přecechtěl, Karel ; Biela, Renata (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the design and operation of water filters. The purpose of this work is insight into the operation of the water treatment plant. To find out what function it performs the water filters water treatment plant. The next step is designing the water supply filter parameters. Finally, the information gathered from various water treatment compared.
Evaluation of the Technical State of Water Treatment Plants
Přecechtěl, Karel ; Slavíčková,, Kateřina (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to create evaluation criteria of technical condition of water treatment plants. The thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part of this thesis are presented evaluation systems by performance indicators drinking water treatment plants, which are then applied in real time. There are detailed descriptions of individual performance indicators. Each evaluation conducted certain period of time. After the expiry of the period under review was to evaluate and create charts to display results. In the next chapter the thesis focuses on the identification data. First, it was necessary to find out all necessary information about the water treatment plant. Necessary information means information relating to building construction, human resources, mechanical parts, technological equipment and other entities with links to the operation of the water treatment plant. All these data were sorted for better overview and facilitate setting evaluation indicators. The third part of this thesis is focused on the development of indicators that are used to determine the current status of the water treatment plant. As a first step was established 19 indicators used to evaluate the condition of the entire water treatment plant. Followed by a description of the individual indicators and then determine the individual evaluation criteria. In the last part of this thesis was carried out by the proposed criteria on selected water treatment plants. They were selected three water treatment plants located in the Czech Republic, which held a personal tour of each water treatment plant. This was followed by an overall assessment of the technical condition of water treatment plants.
The Issue of Vertical Filters with Vegetation for Municipalities up to 500 PE
Brychtová, Veronika ; Přecechtěl, Karel (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
Thesis consist of two parts theoretic one focus on wastewater, wastewater treatment and practical part which focus on the most appropriate option how to treat wastewater in Pyšel village. In this location was in the past purchased a study of variant solutions. From the economical/investment/the most appropriate point of view was chosen vertical wetland. Nowadays vertical wetlands are very suitable for small municipalities under 500 equivalent inhabitants because of the low demand for electricity and the presence of operators is not necessary. This technology became unpopular in Czech Republic after few incorrectly designed vertical wetlands. These problems cause insufficient cleaning ability especially about ammonia, phosphorus or other mostly oxygen parameters. Flawless design and optimized service of vertical wetland can achieve better results than biologically – mechanical waste water treatment plant. Design for Pyšel village is based on research processed by Institute of landscape water management (Kotěnice and Dražovice). Part of the design are also sludge fields, which were build for minimalized financial expenses for Pyšel village inhabitants.
