Financial analysis and financial plan of KOPOS Kolín, a. s.

The main objective of this thesis is to analyse financial performance of KOPOS Kolín, a.s. from 2009 to 2013, especially, via calculating various ratios. Following the financial analysis, the thesis also aims to outline the future plan of this company development, expressed through the individual items of financial statements. The first part of the thesis describes the individual financial ratios, both their explanatory power and their calculation. The following part focuses on the application of the methods and tools to actual data, which were obtained from the financial statements of the company, namely balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Furthermore, the thesis also includes interpretation of the results and a short-term financial plan for 2014, whose creation was based on combination of assumptions and estimates, also explained and described there. The final part deals with total assessment of the financial health of the company.
