Design of 90 degree phase shift hybrid coupler
Ondrejka, Adam ; Kříž, Tomáš
This paper describes the design procedure for quadrature hybrid for UHF band. Circuits are based on distributed parameters with anticipated manufacturing on a PCB. Emphasis is put on a compact size, three methods are used for size reduction of transmission lines. All designs are simulated in electromagnetic simulation software. The best design using meandered lines is verified by measurement with no detectable deviation from target working frequency. Temperature simulation is conducted with the best design.
Design of 90 degrees phase shift hybrid coupler
Ondrejka, Adam ; Čáp, Martin (referee) ; Kříž, Tomáš (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor's thesis is to search for best design of hybrid coupler with 90 degree phase shift while operating in the UHF band. Required power rating is 100 W. High frequency substrate, common FR4 substrate, microstrip lines, coaxial lines and discrete capacitors are used. Branchline coupler is selected and attempt is made to reduce its size while maintaining its properties. Ansys HFSS and Icepak are used for model building and simulations. Manufactured designs are measured and selected ones have their temperature monitored while loaded.
Analysis of turbocharger waste gate
Ondrejka, Adam ; Pohorelský,, Luděk (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of master’s thesis was to put forward calculation methodology of wastegate turbocharger bypass channel discharge coefficient. Designed methodology was based on discharge coefficient analysis conducted utilizing CFD simulations of turbocharger turbine-side parametric model. It was achieved to propose a calculation, which differentiates relatively in average 1,4% from CFD data. New methodology improves the accuracy bypass channel design and helps to choose appropriate wastegate valve actuator.
Analyses of Mechanical Tasks in Multi-body System
Ondrejka, Adam ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create simulation models according to mechanical tasks with the usage of CAD system Invetor and simulation tool SimMechanics, which will be further utilized in tuition. The accuracy of simulation would be evaluated in comparison with classic solutions. Finally, the pros and cons of SimMechanics would be summarized.
Smart Video Doorbell Based on Raspberry Pi
Ondrejka, Adam ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a smart doorbell based on Raspberry Pi. Unlike commercially available smart doorbells, the solution described in this thesis offers full functionality (motion detection, audiovisual streaming, and notifications) even without internet access. The doorbell operates fully locally and enables the user to use more doorbells at the same time. A web page and desktop app for displaying notifications was also implemented for the doorbell. After connecting to the android app Gotify, notifications can also be delivered to a device with the Android operational system.
