The notions of health care professionals and the general public about dignified dying

The dissertation thesis deals with problems associated with dignified dying from the perspective of nurses and general public. In the theoretical part one can see the summarization of current knowledge pertaining to the subject. The concept of death, models of dying and the options of how to provide care for the dying are also discussed here. Furthermore, the thesis touches on the issue of euthanasia and the care of accompanying staff. The empirical part is represented by quantitative assesment of results, which were gathered from respondents' answers to 16 questions in a submitted questionnaire. The studied sample consisted of nurses employed at The hospital of Královské Vinohrady's internal department and the random selection of respondents from general public.

The Comparison of the Excise Taxes in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic Tax System

Thesis on the topic the Comparison of the Excise Taxes in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic Tax Systém is divided into two parts. Theoretical part discusses the legislative regulation of excise duty on alcohol in these same countries. But it also outlined the EU legislation, from which the national legal standards are based. In the practical part is an analysis of excise duties, focusing on the impact on the economy and the state budget. The thesis is concluded with proposals for legislative action.

The bachelor's work on the topic Excise duty on fruit distillery is divided on two parts. First theoretical is concentrated on historical development of excise taxes in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, document the current situation according to current legislation. Second practical part analyzes excise tax on alcohol in particular distillery. It then deals with the administration of excise duties and problems associated with it.
