Death and dying as professional challenges for a social worker

The work deals with issues of death and dying in the context of the social work of the eyes of a social worker. The work includes definition of death and some outline look at death in the past and the present. It deals with the ethical context of death and dying. It also describes the emergence and the development of hospices, starting points and objectives of hospice care and provision of hospice care. The work describes the palliative care and its principles. Bachelor thesis highlights the importance of social work in the field of death and dying and the job of a social worker with the terminally ill and the dying people. The work also describes the work of a social worker in a home for the elderly and in the Hospice. The work deals with the issue of dying children.
