A survey of global investigations of linear differential equations
Neuman, František
In contrast to the local investigations of behavior of solutions of linear differential equations, that started already in the XVII-th century, here we present a survey of methods and results of a global nature. It was possible to establish the unified theory of global properties of solutions of linear differential equations: to describe global canonical forms, distribution of zeros of solutions and other global properties of the equations studied.
O efektivnosti kritéria pro ekvivalentnost lineárních diferenciálních rovnic
Neuman, František
The study of the effectiveness of the criterion of equivalence of linear differential equations
Transformace diferenciálních rovnic - jejich algebraické a geometrické aspekty
Neuman, František
Recent results of algebra and geometry made it possible to solve global problems for linear differential equations. This paper gives a survey of the history and the present state of this research.
Discretization of smooth systems
Neuman, František
Algebraic structures generated by smooth systems enable us to derive discrete relations, equivalent to the previous ones, without requirements on differentiability.
Smoothness versus Discreteness
Neuman, František
It is shown conditions on derivatives can be expressed in a discrete manner without any requirements on derivatives.
