Analysis and possibilities of therapy of postural functions in young hockey players
NETOLIČKOVÁ, Nela
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the possibilities of therapy of postural functions in hockey players. The aim of the thesis is to analyze possible postural deviations and their prevention at an early age and to find a combination of physiotherapeutic methods for hockey preparation. Taking into account the age of the target group, the exercise unit is designed mainly as a preventive tool. Ice hockey is one of the sports in which a unilateral load is typical, which, when exposed to this load from an early age, can lead to faulty posture and muscular imbalances. Prep hockey is open to children from 4 to 12 years old. We have to take into account the growth and further development of these children, which can be affected if the emphasis is not placed on compensation and prevention. The aim of this paper is to describe the issues related to postural function in children at the level of hockey prep. Another aim of the thesis is to compile a combination of methods and concepts as a prevention for these children. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis deals with ice hockey as a sport, the muscular imbalances associated with this sport and the physiotherapeutic methods that can be included in training. The theoretical part serves as a basis for the practical part. The practical part includes research that took place for ten weeks with ice hockey players from SK Horácká Slavia Třebíč. It includes an initial kinesiological analysis, an exercise unit (strengthening and stretching), an output kinesiological analysis and a questionnaire completed at the end of the research. Follow-up meetings and therapy took place according to the probands' abilities every week. From the results we can conclude that mainly stretching, but also strength training has a positive impact on the posture of the participating boys. Some imbalances were compensated and the deep stabilization system was activated. This work is suitable for review by physiotherapists with an interest in sports, hockey coaches, hockey players or the general public.
