Cross-platform performance testing of open source PBX FreeSWITCH
Melichar, Ondřej ; Kováč, Dominik (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the open source private branch exchange FreeSWITCH. The thesis describes the process of installation and consecutive configuration of the telephone system on various distributions of platforms Windows and Linux. Emphasis is placed on comparison of the performance between these systems and also the quality of calls as well as transcoding functionality. Specifically, the performance of the telephone system is tested while using the SIP protocol. Thesis also contains an introduction into the subject and a brief description of the FreeSWITCH architecture and its functions and capabilities.
Asterisk VoIP private branch exchange and its distributions
Melichar, Ondřej ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Papež, Nikola (advisor)
This master’s thesis delves into the possibilities of the open-source Private Branch Exchange Asterisk, elaborates on its features and compares it with several other distros. The term SIP stack is explained here with the mention of two of its representatives. Further in the thesis, the security risks of the VoIP technology are explained, and specific attacks are described and then realized. Skin dose mapping for fluoroscopically guided interventions in cardiology
Melichar, Ondřej ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
The subject of this work is an issue analysis of possible skin damage inflicted during fluoroscopically guided surgery and design of a radiation dose tracking software for patients undergoing an interventional cardiac surgery. The tool is implemented in Unity 3D engine. Mapping is performed by simulating the X-ray machine movement around an anthropomorphic model in conjunction with simulated irradiation using rays emitted from the X-ray machine. The input data needed for dose tracking compose of radiation dose structured report and patient specific biometrics depending on the anthropomorphic model used. Output data is presented as a heatmap mapped directly onto patient’s 3D. This can be used for early diagnostics of radiation dermatitis.
Analysis of the Problems of Employing Foreigners in the Czech Republic
Sedláček, David ; Melichar, Ondřej (referee) ; Kopřiva, Jan (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with problems of employing foreigners in the Czech Republic. The aim is to assess the consequences of the problems arising from this activity and to propose measures that will be optimal for state, employees and employers.

Adaptive priority queues
MELICHAR, Ondřej
This bachelor thesis concerns a solution of a data congestion in small systems. It is typical for sports, for example marathons and urban runs are characterised with a large number of participants and guests. This creates a pressure on a data flow between data systems and it leads to the congestion. The information for paramedics can thereby stuck in a data queue. The aim of the work is to control a communication with the excessive data flow from a server to takers of races results and at the same time to accept some requirements for information in realtime in the direction client server, not speaking of priorities for firemen or paramedics.
