Monitoring and analysing network communication

This thesis describes and explains network attacks and provides solutions how to defend against these threats. Each network attack is introduced in the theoretical part. This thesis characterizes individual signs of each attack and those attacks are divided into specific groups. The next part pursue the topic of defence against these network attacks. This thesis also provides advices, how to lower or even eliminate the attack from happening. In the last part there are practical experiments of chosen attacks performed by selected software.

Methods of collecting and processing of data in www environment

The thesis deals with theoretical basis for the dissertation. Firstly, the terms data, information and knowledge are characterized. Then, the current state and development of web technologies on client and server side is explored. Moreover, the analysis of current state of art deals with Content Management Systems and their approach to information content management. Besides that, contemporary research papers in the desired field were studied. On the whole, forthcoming methodical procedure and a dissertation hypotheses are proposed.

CSS preprocessors

Bachelor thesis deals with the creation of Cascading Style Sheets (way elements are displayed on the website) with three selected preprocessors (SASS, LESS, Stylus), and compare them with each other. It is also carried out a comparison of writing without CSS preprocessor.
The theoretical part deals with the analysis of expert sources concerning CSS preprocessor. Then, in this section is describe the advantages over the listing without preprocessor technology. Furthermore dismantled application software, in which it may compile CSS preprocessors.
In the practical part is created and described several practical examples to verify the effectiveness of CSS preprocessors.

Differences between each preprocessors SASS and LESS on real examples which you can find on web presentation. Comparing each preprocessors SASS and LESS with colections metods of multicriterial analyzes of variants.

OS Chrome and the Chromium project

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Google Chrome web-based operating system and open source Chromium project. In theoretical part of the thesis, general problematics of operating systems is shortly described, followed by the development of OS Chrome, description of the system architecture, and introduction of special hardware for usage of Chrome OS
The practical part is focused on the market analysis both in the Czech Republic and globally, including future prognoses, and comparison to Windows operating systems. Through a survey, knowledge of OS Chrome among people and most frequent usage in computers and laptops is found out. A comparison between OS Chrome and Windows 8.1 is made in these tasks.

Mac OS and use in the corporate sector

The bachelor thesis deals with the deployment of Mac OS X into the corporate IT environment. There are characterized two widely used competing operating systems in the theoretical part. The first one is Windows 7 and second one Mac OS X El Capitan. Another section provides a closer overview of the basic software, which is necessary for using the full potential of both operating systems.
The introduction of practical part deals with the singling out of individual criteria companies on OS based on a literature review, so that they can be further analyzed in detail and compared using the Saaty and scoring methods. Suitable operating system is proposed into the corporate environment on the basis of these analysis and calculations.
