The title of the thesis: Influencing the gait pattern in patients after stroke employing Vojta reflex locomotion Abstract: This bachelor thesis provides insight into Vojta reflex locomotion method and it's influence on gait quality amongst patients after stroke. Vojta reflex locomotion method is used quite rarely amongst such patients, yet it's field of application is expanding continuously. Use of this method makes it possible to affect complex and almost inaccessible muscular interactivities amongst patients suffering from central paresis, so it can positively affect gait or other parameters necessary for patient's locomotion. In this thesis two patients were studied. Both of them had completed eight forty-minute sessions of therapy during one month. Therapy was performed in two coordination complexes - reflex creeping and reflex rolling. The results were evaluated using certain tests, such as Timed Up and Go test, Rivermead visual gait assessment and Footscan gait analysis. Both patients had experienced certain stability improvements during kinesiological examination. Key words: Vojta reflex locomotion, stroke, gait, Footscan, neuroplasticity
