The first chapter deals with the history of the Jewish community in Písek. It starts with historiography of the topic, continues with history of the town and main topic is history of the Jewish community in historical eras. The second chapter deals with the places. The most famous is synagogue with the renovation. The special topic is story of Torah Scrolls from Písek. Described was also Pisek Jewish cemetery and rabbi house where settled Jewish community after world war II. The third chapter describes well-known people of Písek Jewish community. We can learn about biography of Israel Kohn, owner of paper factory Marek Spitz and poet Richard Weiner.
