The canistherapy provided for children with multiple disabilities. MACEČKOVÁ, Martina The Bachelor thesis deals with the canistherapy provided for children with multiple disabilities. The first half of theoretical part is focused on the definition of term 'canistherapy'; its progress in the Czech Republic; its methods, forms, stages, objectives and issues. Likewise, I have drawn my attention to particular canistherapy organisations. The second half of theoretical part gives an accurate description of the canistherapy provided for children with multiple disabilities. There is also specified the term 'canistherapy dog'. The research part concerns the institutions where they take care of the aforementioned group of children. The aim of my essay has been to find out the effect of canistherapy on children with multiple disabilities. The results are shown in terms of the case histories and their overall assessment is described in the final discussion. Detailed record
