My thesis Czech topics in articles of Mariusz Szczygieł in the Polish daily paper Gazeta Wyborcza 2002-2009 focuses on Czech topics in articles of the one from the most famous Polish journalist Mariusz Szczygieł, he wrote for Polish journal Gazeta Wyborcza in the last 7 years (2002-2009) regularly. Describes his biography and his working career as a journalist and deals with the "Polish school of reportage" and, with Polish specifics - literary report. Categorizes and characterizes topics of his work that he is dealing with and searches ways of his specific journalistic techniques. Describes Czech, Polish and European success of his book Gottland (Polish edition in 2006) - collection of literary reports from (and about) Czech republic thanks to his name became well-known in Europe and european collections about Polish reporting.
