Reinforced concrete structure of a multifunction building
Lyčka, Lukáš ; Švaříčková, Ivana (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelors thesis is about designing reinforcement for monolithic concrete skeleton construction of the polyfuncional building. The model was created by software SCIA ENGINEER 2012. Designed and reviewed elements of the construction are beams, collumn, footings and locally supported concrete slab.
Assessment of the current state and the static strengthening of the existing precast structure
Moštěk, Petr ; Lyčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with the recalculation of the existing prestressed roof beam. The goal was to find out the reason for cracks in the beam shortly after the building of the hall structure and the proposal for its strengthening.
Precast load-bearing reinforced concrete structure
Lyčka, Lukáš ; Kraut, Jan (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design main parts of the construction for concrete sports hall made from prefabricated elements. Designed elements are T-shaped prestressed roof truss, columns, slabs and continuous girders. This thesis contains engineering report, calculations and drawings of the designed parts.
Structural strengthening of the outbuilding of existing construction
Pelouch, Adam ; Lyčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on structural assessment and strengthening of the reinforced concrete flor slab disturbed by excessive deflection. Thesis included assesment of the existing construction and design method of strengthening of the floor structure with system using prestressing strands without bond.
Serviceability limit states - the use of different design approaches for a crack width calculation.
Puža, Martin ; Lyčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The theoretical part of theses focuses on assessment of crack width by calculation according to three different design approaches with subsequent comparison in parametric study. The work also includes a design and assessment of reinforced concrete girder of asymmetric variable cross-section by ČSN EN 1992-1-1 with corresponding drawing documentation.
Punching Shear of Flat Slabs
Lyčka, Lukáš ; Jaroslav, Halvoník (referee) ; Čajka,, Radim (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
The use of flat slabs in constructions due to its many functional and economic advantages is wide-spread. Behavior of flat slabs in shear and flexure is a fairly complex problem. Therefore, the punching shear failure belongs to one of the most critical aspects in the design of concrete buildings. Over the last decades several buildings have collapsed due to the failure of the punching shear strength, resulting in loss of lives and financial damages. These disasters revealed gaps in the current (or former) design codes and recommendations. As a part of theoretical framework of the dissertation a method for predicting the punching shear strength of flat slabs was developed. Several experiments on scaled down slabs were conducted in order to verify the proposed method and for optimization of its parameters. Proposed method in development predicts the punching shear for slabs without shear reinforcement according to the EC2 and replaces the area of the shear crack with a system of struts and ties.
Design of selected details of concrete structures reinforced with composite reinforcement
Vašátko, David ; Lyčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to explore and describe behavior of slab in punching shear. In total four concrete slabs were experimentally tested; each being reinforced differently. Using real experiments, there was a possibility to observe different behavior of steel and FRP reinforcement, eventually even the effect of adding FRP stirrups on load-bearing capacity. For the purpose of experimental testing design, currently placed formulas used to determine punching shear capacity were adjusted for application on longitudinal and shear FRP reinforcement. Atena software was used to approximate behavior of specimens by performing a nonlinear analysis. After the results of loading tests were obtained, next step was the comparison of design approaches and comparison of behavior of nonlinear model to a real specimen. In practical part, design of locally supported slab with requirement of non-magnetic reinforcement took place.
Structural assessment of the existing reinforced-concrete frame structure of the production building
Kratochvílová, Barbora ; Lyčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the statistic assessment of the existing building. The first part of this thesis is focused on the verification of the load capacity. The construction under assessment is a reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton with 3 floors. In the second part of this thesis, reinforcement of the non-compliant elements is performed. The analysis of the construction was performed using the finite element method in program SCIA 21.1. The construction is designed and evaluated according to ČSN EN 1991-1-1.
