Climatic influences as the faktor impacting on the accuracy of shooting

Střelba na velké vzdálenosti v otevřeném prostoru a v zastavěné oblasti je dosti problematická právě z důvodu změny povětrnostních vlivů, které zásadně mění rychlost a směr střely. Střelba na velké vzdálenosti je v policejní a armádní praxi určena jako podpůrný prostředek pro operující skupiny nebo jednotky, které nejsou schopny vlastními silami zabezpečit prostor, ve kterém operují dále při ochraně VIP osob a vyhraněných objektů. A v neposlední řadě také k likvidaci pachatele(ů), kteří svým jednáním naplňují skutkovou podstatu zvlášť nebezpečného trestného činu a nelze zasáhnout jinak. Summary Lang-distance shooting in open space and built-up areas is rather problematic, particularly for the reason of climatic influences which substantially impact on the velocity and direction ofthe bullet. Lang-distance shooting in police and army applications is used mainly to support operating groups or units that are not capable of securing the space in which they operate by their own means, further to protect VIP persons and objects ofthe state's interest. And last but not least, it is used for the neutralisation ofmalefactors committing first-degree crimes and no other means ofneutralization can be used. I
