F.Liszt´s opinion on F.Chopin

This thesis provides an unaccustomed view of F.Chopin, from the point of view of his contemporary F. Liszt. The aim of the thesis is to become acquiantant with Liszt´s both personal and professional perspective on Chopin. The thesis attemps to discover connections between Liszt´s opinion on Chopin and his own life experience and career, artistic conviction and apprehension of society at that time. It enables to take a look into cogitation of a 19th century´s music genius and particulary its goal is to describe the human element of both of the artists.
Sergej Prokofjev: Sonatas No. 6, 7 and 8.

This work deals with Prokofievs piano sonatas from the WW II period. The introduction explains my chice of this topic and describes my relation to Prokofjevs works in general. The first chapter is a brief biography of Prokofjev, that focuses on his piano works. The main part of this work is dedicated to the analysis of the sonatas No. 6, 7 and 8. These compositions are being studied from three perspectives: the listener´s, the composer´s and the performer´s. In conclusion, this work mentions a famous interpretation by Sviatoslav Richter.
