Development in the field of project management also entails increasing demands for information related to the project, which is obviously reflected in the requirements for project management tools. In addition to the growing demands on the development of existing functions we can more and more often meet the demand of interaction with other corporate software, which causes particularly the trend of increasing complexity of information systems across all organizations. Opportunities and quality of software offered are illustrated by the ranking of selected tools in a number of criteria, on the basis of which the user should be able to choose the most appropriate depending on his requirements or at least choosing the type of application from which will be the acquired instrument selected.
