Thiol-ene-based monolithic enzymatic microreactor for glycoprotein deglycosylation
Novotný, Jakub ; Lafleur, J. P. ; Kutter, J. P. ; Foret, František
Enzymatic microreactor was fabricated from thiol-ene polymer. Glycoprotein samples were deglycosylated by enzyme PNGase F which was immobilized on the monolith.
Thiol-ene-based monolithic microreactors
Novotný, Jakub ; Lafleur, J. P. ; Kutter, J. P.
High variability in properties of thiol-enes makes them ideal material for microfluidic reactors. Surface functionalization can be carried using functional groups already present in the material and can be easily patterned thanks to UV-initiation. As the character of porogenic solvent, thiol-ene concentration, use of detergents, speed of stirring, etc., have influence on formation and properties of the resulting monolith, optimization of the procedure for its intended application is necessary.
