Utilization of Project Method in Teaching of Natural Science at Secondary School

The bachelor thesis deals with project methods in science subjects at secondary schools. In the theoretical part are explained the main concepts, the description of the project method, the types and phases of project method and it finally describes the Framework educational programmes for secondary schools. Great attention is paied to the implementation of the project method in science subjects. The practical part includes the expert research orientated to detecting teachers' experience and their use of design methods and views on the proposed project example.
Effect of mineral fertilization on photosynthetic characteristics of Carex acuta

The MSc. thesis "Effect of mineral fertilization on photosynthetic characteristics of Carex acuta" deals with photosynthetic characteristics of plants subjected to different nutrient regimes. Stands dominated with Carex acuta were studied din two localities: Záblatské louky with organic soil and Hamr with mineral soil. The experimental treament was subjected to high fertilization, while the control treatment received no nutrient addition. The net assimilation was measured using Licor 6400. The aim was to find out whether the net assimilation was higher in fertilized plants as compared with non-fertilized plants. In spring the fertilized plants did not have higher photosynthetic rates at either locality, probably because of water limitation. The positive effect of fertilization was proved only at Hamerské louky after the second cut.
ECOLOGY APPLICATIONS IN THE GLASSHOUSE WITH THE SOLAR GRIDS

This Bachelor´s thesis is concerned with an observation of plants, especially generic beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), which were grown in front of varicoloured walls of greenhouse with solar rasters four years ago. It was supposed, according to a way of reflected solar radiation from the coloured walls, a different growth ability of plants in regard for leaf areas, a gross biomass, some of growth parameters of leaves and a photosyntetic rate as well. There was not discovered any possibility of influence of the walls relating to leaf areas, a weight of biomass and the photosyntetic rate. The influence was only set down in some of the parameters of leaves.
