Quantitative easing and its impact on the economy of the United states of America

The master thesis analyzes "quantitative easing" policy in the USA which is very controversial. Quantitative easing influences a liquidity of the bank system and has different impact on economic variables. The relationship between growth of total reserves and economic variables is analyzed during 9/2008 - 3/2012 by Eviews program. The conclusion is that impact of quantitative easing policy on economic variables has been different in comparison with former assumptions.
Natural catastrophes and commercial insurance

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of natural catastrophes and coverage of their consequences by commercial insurance. At first, the general development of natural disasters in the world and the subsequent evalution of past two years in terms of catastrophic events and their impact on the insurance market. Then the situation in the Czech republic in terms of natural catastrophes is mentioned. These are mainly floods, especially from the years 1997 and 2002. Furthermore, storms and the other natural hazards are mentioned. In the last section the basic insurance products of selected insurer covering consequences caused by natural events are analyzed.
