Kvita, Ondřej ; Štraus, Ivan (advisor) ; Matoušek, Bohuslav (referee) ; Pazdera, Jindřich (referee)
In my diplom thesis I examine Max Reger´s relationship with the royal instrument violin. Reger dedicated many of his violin compositions to famous violin virtuosos of his time. Most of this work I put my mind to Reger´s important friendship with violin players - Adolf Busch and Henri Marteau, who had undoubtedly a great influence on his music. The final part deals with his friendship with the Czech Quartet - ensemble which also performed a lot of Reger´s chamber works.
