The women - artists in second half of the 19th century

The women-artists of the 19th century seem to be a real apparition from a view of the today's and fully emancipated woman. They were the ones who started an almost discovering journey - not just the art one, but also, and first of all, the social and the cultural-sociable. Despite of hard conditions they managed to enrich creative lines as well as to extend painting genres also to participate in raising an artisan's up to the "high" arts. Many here named woman-artists outlined the wide development of the woman-art by their creativity. I would like to remind some of them - some ofthe greatest and most talented woman-artists. Their desire to a professional enforce through their studies abroad went to fading of art influences into the Czech country. My school work - following of a lanscape creativity, beside not too omited the one called Zdenka Braunerova, wants also to mention another important woman -an artist Marie Kirschnerova. Her realistic pictures were influented by the trench painting. She was one of the first ones who has brought an influence of ,;'Sarbison" painting into the Czech country. Beside her landscape creativity, her glass production for one famous "Lotzov" glasshouse exceles in Kirschnerova's creation. Historicist ornamentation in the work of Josef Manes

The core part of the thesis is devoted to the lifework of a Czech artist Josef Mánes (1820−1871) with an emphasis on the artworks which include historicist ornamentation. The main aim of the author is a typological definition of particular motives of historicist ornamentation in the work of Josef Mánes, specifying the sources of their inspiration. The thesis is accompanied by the summary of the literature on the topic, by the list of all artworks of Josef Mánes containing ornamental decoration and sorting of the rich accompanying picture materials.
Cross-border Cooperation in Czech-German Non-profit Organizations

This thesis examines Czech-German cross-border cooperation within intercultural communication, identifies problems and develops possible solutions. The thesis is divided into a practical and a theoretical part. The theoretical part first describes the Czech-German cross-border cooperation and then intercultural communication, followed by a discussion of the context and the research methods. In the practical part, the author first performs a sequential analysis of data collected via interviews conducted with people working in the Tandem organization. The results of the analysis are interpreted, problems within the cooperation of Tandem are identified, and possible solutions developed. A glossary divided into two parts, recapitulating the definitions of relevant terms from the first two theoretical chapters of this thesis, is listed at the end of this work. A French résumé summarizing all the important points and conclusions is enclosed with the thesis. The aim of this thesis is to answer the following research question: "Linguistic and intercultural challenges of Czech-German non-profit cross-border cooperation: The case of the Tandem organization."
Comparative analysis of Czech and French constitutional regulation of the legislative power and analysis of relevant legal terminology

The thesis entitled Comparative analysis of Czech and French constitutional regulation of the legislative power and analysis of relevant legal terminology examines different constitutional regulation of the legislative power in the Czech Republic and the French Republic. The thesis is divided into a practical and a theoretical part. The theoretical part describes the regulation of the legislative power firstly in the Czech Republic and then in the French Republic. In the practical part, the author first performs a comparative analysis of Czech and French constitutional regulation of the legislative power, she evaluates the degree of its similarity and difference, then she deals with the analysis of chosen French legal terms and she creates a French-Czech glossary. A French résumé is enclosed with the thesis. The primary aim of this thesis is to confirm or disprove a hypothesis that the French Parliament has a weaker position in the current constitutional regulation than the Czech one. The secondary aim of this thesis is to analyse the relevant legal terminology.
