Krnáčová, Dana
This bacherol thesis is focused on the risks of an alternative way of obtaining funds, which is peer-to-peer lending, on the czech and slovak financial market. In the theoretical part of the thesis the peer-to-peer lending as well as the reason why it is considered as a form of shadow banking are described. In the main part of the-oretical part the potenial risks, their sources and proposals for protection against those risks are described. Based on these proposals, the implemented rules of the selected czech and slovak platforms are compared in the practical part. The result of the comparison are the potential risks which are left partly or fully unadressed.
