Koubková, Barbora ; Hůrka, Petr (advisor) ; Morávek, Jakub (referee)
Protection of employees in the event of transfer of employer The master's theses deals with the topic of the transfer of rights and obligations from employment relationships and related institutes of protection of the employees affected by the transfer. The topic is regulated at the European Union tier by Council Directive 2001/23/EC of 12 March 2001 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the safeguarding of employees' rights in the event of transfers of undertakings, businesses or parts of undertakings or businesses, which has been transposed into national law as Section XV of Part Thirteen of Act No. 262/2006 Coll., the Labour Code. The thesis introduces both tiers of legislation, the relevant case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic and evaluates the implementation of the Directive 2001/23/EC into the national system. The first part of the work is an explanatory one as it describes the meaning of some of the fundamental labour law terms and contexts for the purposes of the following text. The second part introduces the transfer of an undertaking, business or part thereof under the Directive 2001/23/EC and formation of the rules by the Court of Justice of the European Union, in particular the development of the...
The value system of men and women in the current family
KOUBKOVÁ, Bohumila
The objective of thesis was to identify the most important values of men and women in the current family and role division in these families. The theoretical section defines the topic through professional literature. I present here the differences between men and women from the biological, psychological and sociological perspective. Then, I focused on the family and the present, values and value orientation. Finally, I worked out the roles of men and women. To find out the opinions and attitudes related to the thesis objective and hypothesis, I used quantitative research. Data collection was carried out using the method of interviewing and the technique of questionnaire. The questionnaire survey was conducted in January and February of 2011 and it was preceded by a pilot study. In total, 210 pieces of questionnaires were distributed. 176 properly completed questionnaires, which were usable for the research, were returned. The research sample consisted of married men and married women from the South Bohemian Region. The sample of respondents was selected randomly. The condition was that both the men and the women had children. The bachelor thesis established two hypotheses. In connection with the results of the research, it needs to be emphasized that the value system of men and women in the current family is almost the same, but in terms of the order of life values. The most important value for men and women in the current family is health. The value of the family took the second place. Of course, it is obvious that for a woman, in terms of all aspects, the value of family represents a somewhat higher value than for men as compared to employment. In connection with the division of roles in the current family it can be said that men are more inclined to the traditional division of roles. It is necessary to mention the fact that women disagree with this division. The results of thesis show the most important values and division of roles of men and women in the current family. The gained knowledge can be used as a source of information for other research studies dealing with this issue. It could also be used as education material for instruction that is associated with this issue.

Prokeš, Miroslav ; Baruš, Vlastimil ; Peňáz, Milan ; Koubková, B. ; Gelnar, M.
Ecological parameters of the fish assemblage and stone loach population are presented. In total, 25 fish species from 7 families in the river Haná (23 species), including its sources Velká Haná (5 species) and Malá Haná (7 species), were found. Index of species diversity (H') ranged from 0.00 to 1.96, abundance was 89.0 - 22754.8 (mean = 3874.5) exx.ha-1 and biomass was 1.87 - 599.1 (mean = 115.07) kg.ha-1. In five localities in middle and lower parts of the Haná of total 20 localities, no fish was found. Stone loach occured in the whole longitudinal profile within the trout and cyprinid assemblages in abundance of 12.7 - 18260.7 (mean = 2452.8) exx.ha-1 and in biomass of 0.04 - 58.8 (mean = 10.27) kg.ha-1. Species weight dominance (D) was 0.31 - 15.00% (mean = 4.96%). Population of stone loach is a suitable in the stream for investigations of the fish metazoan parasite biology and ecology.
Fish species diversity in tributaries of the Haná stream
Prokeš, Miroslav ; Baruš, Vlastimil ; Peňáz, Milan ; Koubková, B. ; Gelnar, M.
Fundamental ecological parameters of the fish assemblages in the Brodecký potok (BP) and Rostěnický potok (RP) were presented. In th BP, 18 fish species, in the RP 11 fish species and in the whole river system of the Haná 30 fish species were presented. Index of species diversity (H') in the BP ranged from 0.3358 to 1.7161, abundance was 14359-66818 exx.ha-1 and biomass was 51.6-576.6 kg.ha-1. Stone loach occurred in the localities, where predator species (Esox lucius, Sander lucioperca and Perca fluviatilis) absented, in dominance 3.72-94.06% and biomass 18.84-53.1 kg.ha-1. Index of fish species diversity in the RP ranged from 0.7496 to 1.7268 abundance was 4490-14578 exx.ha-1 and biomass was 72.1-961.1 kg.ha-1. Stone loach occurred only in the stream mouth of BP in the dominance 3.79% and biomass 3.9 kg.ha-1.
