Theatre in Dlouhá for Children
Kostrhunová, Alžběta ; Machková, Eva (advisor) ; Vostárek, Karel (referee)
In this paper, I deal with drama for children in Bohemia. In its first part, I try to outline particularities of drama for children, their reflections in time, and possible influence of the drama on children. In the second part, I focus on Divadlo v Dlouhé which regularly devotes its presentations to children. I deal more thoroughly with presentations by Jan Borna called Malá vánoční povídka aneb Jak jsem se ztratil (Short Christmas Tale, or How I Got Lost), Kdyby prase mělo křídla (If Pigs Had Wings), and Myška z bříška (Small Mouse from a Tummy). I focus on dominant elements and individual parts of the presentations and reactions of children to them. This paper also consists of two dialogs with authors ? director Jan Borna and actor Martin Matejka ? and of pieces of art created by the young spectators based on the presentations viewed.
